Featuring a carefully balanced selection of botanical, mineral, and earth pigments, we worked closely with A. Gallo to create a watercolor pan set that is an approachable introduction for beginners while providing depth and versatility for experienced painters seeking to capture the subtleties of nature. The set of 12 brings together earthy neutrals, botanical greens, mineral blues, warm ochres, rich reds, and rosy pinks.

Handcrafted in Assisi, A. Gallo watercolors are made according to a traditional recipe using raw pigments, gum arabic, local honey, and rosemary essential oil, preserving the artistry and heritage of traditional Italian watercolor making. Richly concentrated and easy to reactivate with water with smooth application, beautiful luminosity, and excellent control, ideal for both detailed work and expressive washes.
