Handcrafted in Sheffield, England, these pruning scissors combine the precision of fine scissors with the strength needed for everyday garden work. Originally created for the Post Office to cut through tough mailbag ties, their long handles provided the necessary leverage, while the rounded tip reduced the risk of accidental injury. It was soon discovered that the same design was just as well suited to the garden.

Strong yet remarkably nimble, they are ideal for harvesting herbs, deadheading flowers, and ikebana. The curved, serrated blade grips shrubs, vines, and stems securely for clean, confident cuts. Made by one of the world’s oldest scissor manufacturers, they are hot-forged using traditional techniques passed down through generations and finished with corrosion-resistant chrome-plated blades for lasting durability.
