A simple terracotta burner designed for use with Papier d’Arménie incense paper. The domed form allows the fragrance to diffuse gradually through the room while providing a dedicated surface for burning the paper.

Made in France, the burner pairs naturally with the traditional Papier d’Arménie booklets and can remain out as a small sculptural object between uses.

Brand Description

Papier d’Arménie has been making its distinctive incense paper in France since 1885, when Auguste Ponsot was inspired by the traditional use of benzoin resin during a journey to Armenia. He brought the idea home to Paris, developing a fragranced paper designed to perfume the home and neutralize unwanted odors. More than a century later, the small paper booklets remain a familiar part of French homes, valued for their distinctive fragrance and simple method of use.
